Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Honoring Veterans and Their Families: Standing Strong Against Sexual Assault

As we enter Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Patriot Connection Services reaffirms our commitment to supporting veterans and their families in every aspect of their lives, including addressing the important issue of sexual assault.

For those who have bravely served our country, the scars of battle are not always visible. Too often, our veterans and their loved ones carry the unseen burdens of trauma, including the lasting effects of sexual assault. Sexual assault is prevalent in the military. A Rand report (https://www.rand.org/pubs/tools/TLA746-2/handbook/resources/data-on-sexual-assault-in-the-military.html) details some alarming numbers.

At Patriot Connection Services, we recognize the urgent need to raise awareness, provide resources, and foster a community of support for those impacted by this devastating issue.

Throughout this month, we stand together as a beacon of hope and solidarity, amplifying the voices of survivors, and empowering individuals to break the silence surrounding sexual assault. Our mission is not only to honor the sacrifices of our veterans but also to ensure their safety, dignity, and well-being are upheld.

Together, let us continue to advocate for change, educate our communities, and offer unwavering support to those affected by sexual assault. With compassion, resilience, and a shared commitment to justice, we can create a future where every veteran and their family member can heal, thrive, and find solace in knowing they are never alone.

Join us this Sexual Assault Awareness Month as we unite in solidarity, strength, and compassion. Together, we can make a difference.

With gratitude and determination,

Damon Haycock
